Current projects
- Hydrologic analysis under climate change in major western US River basins
Data development
- Development of downscaled climate models data at 1-km spatial resolution to use in a project to assess change effects on tree mortality rates in California's Sierra Nevada
- Development of high spatial resolution (12-km) downscaled climate models data to use in a project to assess affects of climate change and disturbance on ecosystem carbon in the Rocky Mountains
- Development of ensemble hydrologic projections from a set of IPCC AR4 General Circulation Model (GCM) for the California-Nevada region. This ensemble simulation consists of 40 members from 16 GCMs, two emission scenarios and two statistical downscaling techniques. The ensemble hydrologic simulations are planned to use for Probabilistic Climate Change projections in California
